The client was Network Rail. The existing station had timber cladding that had to be replaced with GRP Class 0 fire resistant cladding. This replacement
cladding was part of the project to update train stations across London. In total there were 400m2 of cladding required.
The replacement system had to closely match the existing, being a wood cladding effect. The time frame for the completion of the project was very short
and quality standard was very important.
Relinea were appointed to prepare a mould that would match the timber wood slat cladding, which existed on the outside of the station and smooth high gloss
finish cladding on the inside. All panels were supplied to the client’s requirements, and sent prefabricated for ease of installation. All panels possessed
Class 0 Fire Resistant rating.
Although restricted on time, we were able to manufacture and complete installation within the allocated time frame. Furthermore, the client was satisfied
with the overall quality of our GRP cladding product, and Relinea’s workmanship.
