Handrail & Flooring

Relinea was brought on board to design, supply, and install a GRP Handrail and Bund Flooring system. The requirements of the project demanded the use of non-conductive, lightweight flooring and structures to overcome the operational dangers associate with a high voltage substation environment.

Floor Grating

Balfour Beatty contracted Relinea to design, supply and install GRP (glass reinforced plastic): open mesh floor grating, structural support beams, handrail and an access platform. 

Trench Covers

Due to the light-weight, non-conductive and slip resistant properties of GRP, Apple chose our RE-DECK covered grating for the trench covers.

Access Platforms

Relinea were subcontracted to design, build and install a fixed GRP platform at the Garvagh Wind Farm substation. Due to the high conductivity of the area, the client required a product that was non-conductive but also provided a durable maintenance free solution.
