DDA Compliant Handrails

Relinea GRP handrails offer several benefits over Steel DDA Handrails.

What makes a handrail DDA compliant?

Nondiscriminatory handrails must be provided in and around public and commercial buildings to ensure accessibility.
  • Must be between 900mm & 1100mm in height
  • A lower mid-rail positioned at 600mm
  • Railings should be 40 – 45mm in diameter
  • Be smooth & continuous with a warm to touch feel
  • Contrast with the surrounding environment
